UseGalaxy.eu Use Case: Zika virus effects on brain and brain tumours

»

Harry Bulstrode from the Wellcome Stem Cell Institute at the University of Cambridge (UK) has kindly described for us his research topic: Zika virus effects on brain and brain tumours.

I use usegalaxy.eu to analyse bulk RNA Seq datasets from human embryo brain tissue and glioblastoma brain tumours. We are looking at the oncolytic effects of Zika virus on brain and brain tumours, and at the effect of the microenvironment on the ability of the virus to infect.

Below you can see some human embryo brain tissue infected with the virus from our upcoming paper, which will of course acknowledge the valuable help of usegalaxy.eu.
